Alvi's Drift Signature Chenin Blanc (13,5%)

The grapes are harvested early in the morning because it is not yet so hot. This helps to produce a wine that is as fruity as possible. In addition, only the best grape juice is used at Alvi's Drift. The cold fermentation in stainless steel barrels also contributes to an optimal freshness. The wine is light straw yellow in colour and has a pungent nose of flowers and passion fruit. The mouthfeel is soft and filmy with white peach and nectarine as protagonists. In the glass, this results in a beautiful combination of intense aromas, complexity and length, a textbook example of a South African Chenin Blanc.
