Alvi's Drift Verreaux Pinotage (13,5%)

Verreaux's Eagle is a large, majestic bird of prey that often soars high above Alvi's Drift. Named after Pierre Jules Verreaux, the French naturalist who first described many species of birds and animals in South Africa. The Verreaux Pinotage is made without compromise, in small volumes, with intense colour, robust tannins and juicy aromas of ripe fruit including mulberries and blackberries. This is complemented by complex aromas of leather, nuts and vanilla. The wine is blended from individually selected barrels and the experienced wine lover will quickly realise that this is wine with a storage potential of 8 to 10 years.
