Big Peat The Smokehouse Edition - Fèis Ìle 2023 (48%)

Independent whisky bottler Douglas Laing releases a new edition of Big Peat. This whisky is dedicated to the famous island festival of Islay: Fèis Ìle. Of this limited 2023 release, the Netherlands has managed to secure 600 bottles. The whisky is a marriage of Single Malt whiskies from Islay. The blend has rested on robust red wine casks for extra flavor dimension and contains an alcohol content of 48%.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Red fruit, red apple and vanilla.
Taste: Dried cherries, peat smoke and maritime notes.
Finish: Long and intense with red berry juice and a distinctive Big Peat pepper at the end.
