What makes "Bij 't Wad" Honey rum so special is that the honey used in making the rum comes directly from local beekeepers on the Wadden Islands in the Netherlands. The honey was then shipped to Tenerife, where it was blended with the rum by the distillers of Guajiro to make this delicious honey rum.
The rich flavor comes from the unique flora on the islands including sea lavender. Elegant soft and not too sweet taste.

Ron miel ("Honey rum") is a variety of rum made from liquor or cane molasses, typical from the Canary Islands. It is known as honey rum because the final product incorporates an amount of at least 2% honey of the total volume. It is of intense and sweet flavor, and its color goes from the old gold to the intense mahogany.
