Château Montifaud

'Chateau Montifaud Michel Vallet Réserve Speciale' was created especially for the year 2000 by Michel Vallet, the father of current owner Laurent Vallet.

The L20 is a quality apart: between the VSOP and the XO in the general cognac classification, this blend also has a special position in our range : a blend of more than 10 different cognacs, all older than the years required by regulation.

This VSOP Cognac from Château Montifaud is at least 10 years old and is matured for a minimum of eight months on new wood to create a unique flavour.

This cognac has a copper colour, and the number of years allowed the spreading out of walnut aromas, cigar box and spicy notes.
Very mellow, round with an exceptional "rancio" typical of the very very old cognacs and an incredible length on the palate.

This Napoleon Cognac from Château Montigfaud is of very high quality and a real must for the connoisseur. The Cognac has a beautiful amber colour which is partly due to the 18 years of maturing in old oak barrels.

The Chateau Monitfaud XO Sabina has a copper color and outstanding aromas with complex nuances of dry flowers and dry fruits followed by hints of nuts and spices. Very soft tannins with an amazing and mellow length on the palate.

Montifaud's XO is an exceptionally old cognac that consists of blends that have matured between 30 and 35 years!
