Bushmills Steamship Rum Cask is the fourth in the brand's Steamship collection.
This whiskey is made from an Irish single malt aged in first-fill Caribbean rum barrels. The recipe was inspired by the usual voyage when the SS Bushmills made a stop on the island of St. Vincent, where it was stocked with rum to take back to the distillery.
Bushmills Steamship Rum Cask has a rich aroma of intense citrus, pineapple and mango flavors. These immediately reveal the tropical character of this Irish whiskey. It also has a creamy taste with notes of vanilla, fruit and white pepper, finished with a subtle hint of oak.
