Caol Ila 12 Years Old - Single Note Whisky (53,3%)

This particular Caol Ila was distilled on Feb. 25, 2008 and aged for 12 years in ex-bourbon cask #303639.
On April 15, 2021, the whisky was bottled by independent bottler Single Note. A total of 375 bottles were released, with a cask strength of 53.3% alcohol.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Prosciutto and miso, a citrus note from lime, followed by root beer.
Palate: The coastal brininess you may expect, combined with an interesting note of cardamom. An intriguing effervescence adds an unusual dimension to this Caol Ila.
Finish: A medium to long finish with lovely soft stone fruit notes.
