Carn Mor Glenburgie 2011 10yo (47.5%)

This Glenburgie 2011 is a delicious whisky, of course mainly due to the maturation in PX Sherry casks. The dark color betrays everything, which confirms the nose. Decadent sweetness followed by roasted (pecan) nuts, topped with cane sugar syrup. The finish is long and remains wonderfully sweet.

Nose : An Autumnal scent with freshly baked nuts from the oven.
Taste : Smooth taste with pecan, almonds and pistachio nuts drizzled with golden syrup.
Finish : Powerful long finish with fudge in the background.
