Spheric Spirits, an independent bottler based in Leipzig, Germany, has released a remarkable rum in 2024: the Cuban Rum 50 Years Old 1973/2024. Distilled in 1973, this exclusive rum was aged for no less than 50 years in Cuba. Due to Cuba's warm tropical climate, the 'Angels Share' was very high. This led to the gradual amalgamation of many barrels into this one barrel. After 50 years of maturation, what remains is a rich, concentrated, dark rum. The distillery, located in the southeast of the island, remains unknown. It is a unique opportunity to drink such an old spirit. Connoisseurs give this release high ratings!
