Dewar's Double Double 27yo (46%)

Dewar's has pioneered the 'double aging' process, where all blends in its range undergo a secondary rest in oak barrels to combine flavors and make the blend extra smooth.
With the new limited edition 'Double Double' range, this process has become an art form, with a 'quadruple aging' or 'double double' aging process created by Dewar's master blender Stephanie Macleod.

First, the malt whiskies reach their required age and are blended together and returned to an oak barrel. The same happens with the grain whiskies. Next, the two types of whiskey are blended together and returned to an oak barrel for a secondary double maturation period. Finally, the blend is finished in an ex-sherry cask.
Dewar's Double Double 27-Year-Old is finished in Palo Cortado sherry casks.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Intoxicating, aromatic, floral notes with honeyed fruits and subtle spices.
Taste: A distinctive flavor, floral, aged fruit, spicy, toffee, honey and caramel.
Finish: silky smooth finish with the honey and fruit still slipping away.
