The Bastard edition is a blend of five exclusive rums, the oldest of which is aged for eight years in American oak barrels. The purest Dutch water and a small dash of sugar. It defines this rum and puts it in a class of its own.
Together with renowned sugar specialist Royal Cosun, we develop the unique blend of The Basterd Edition. In doing so, we were able to draw on the company's more than 100 years of knowledge and experience in the sugar industry. And the result is a top-quality rum made with only 9.4 grams of sugar per bottle, a lot less if you look at existing premium rum brands in the market.
