EMB Plummer 14 Years Old Tropical Aged (69.7%)

Selected by the Dutch independent bottler Scheer and the Italian well known rum specialist Velier! This version has aged 100% of its time in the tropical climate of Jamaica and is a blend of ten barrels distilled in 2006, two barrels distilled in 2004 and four barrels distilled in 2002, 100% pot still. It is part of the Plummer category of rums produced by the Monymusk-Clarendon distillery and has an ester content of 324.5 grams per hectoliter of pure alcohol.
The rum stands for what it stands for: a great palette of complex flavors and aromas, which are wonderfully generous. For a few seconds, time seems to stand still....

Tasting notes:
Nose: Apricot, mango, mustard and camphor. After leaving it open for a while, rich notes of ripe banana emerge.
Palate: Wood and beautiful autumnal (cep) and spicy notes.
Finish: Exotic finish with violet, cinnamon and chocolate.
