Holyrood Embra - Peated Q-Cask (43,6)

Holyrood Embra is the second single malt whisky from Holyrood Distillery, based in Edinburgh, Scotland. This release is special because it is the distillery's first peated whisky, adding a new dimension to their range.
Embra is produced with a blend of malts, including 56% heavily-turfed malt and chocolate malt. A variety of yeasts are also used, including two distiller's yeasts, three brewer's yeasts and two wine yeasts, contributing to a complex flavour profile.

The whisky is matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon casks, Islay quarter casks and new American oak, creating a unique balance between sweet and smoky notes.
