Kilchoman 16YO (50%)

Something very special has now arrived, just in time for the cold winter: the Kilchoman 16 Years Old! A proud moment for everyone at the Kilchoman distillery, as they release their oldest worldwide bottling to date. For the past few years, Anthony and Robin have been closely monitoring these barrels, filled in the early days of the distillery. They have been waiting for the right moment to summarize them and bottle the grand 16 YO. Finally, in their wisdom, they decided to create this whiskey from 21 specially selected barrels, and these have been mostly ex-bourbon barrels. You can also clearly taste the influences of ex-Oloroso sherry barrels, creating a perfectly balanced whisky by the gentlemen.
