KOLOA brand rums come from the beautiful Hawaiian island of Kaua'i and have won multiple awards. The base for the Koloa Reserve Barrel Select is distilled twice in a copper pot built as recently as 1947. The small unit holds only 4,581 liters and thus produces only very small batches. The raw material for KOLOA's rum is the best locally grown sugar cane and spring water from the Wai'ale'ale mountain peak in the heart of the island of Kaua'i. The Reserve Bareel Select Rum is stored for a minimum of 4 years in toasted white oak barrels. The Small Batch Blend consists of 12 individual barrels with a total of 3,500 bottles.
