La Celia - Altivo Secret Single Vineyard (14,8%)

The Altivo Secret Single Vineyard Malbec is a very nice wine and the flagship of the Altivo series. Made by Finca la Celia with very expressive aromatic grapes. The wine was aged for at least 12 months in French oak barrels, then 8 months in bottle . The colour is bright red ruby. In the nose, dark berry, mocha, menthol and spicy oak. The palate is quite soft and subdued, with distinctly cool aromas of dark raspberry, berry, liquorice and menthol, framed by firm acidity. Finishes with silky tannins.
We recommend decanting this wine 40 minutes before serving. Serve at 18ºC. The Altivo Secret Single Vineyard Malbec pairs nicely with grilled vegetables and hearty meat dishes. Also nice with chocolate.
