Lochlea Our Barley (46%)

Matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels, Oloroso Sherry casks and STR barriques, Lochlea 'Our Barley' sits at 46% ABV and is non chill-filtered with no added colouring.
Carefully honed by Production Director John Campbell, Our Barley will sit alongside Lochlea's seasonal limited releases.
Lochlea will be bottling a higher volume of this release, in the hope that everyone who wants to will be able to purchase a bottle. John has been busy perfecting the cask recipe and he is extremely excited for you to try it!

Tasting Notes:
Colour: copper/ gold
Nose: peach syrup with fruit bonbons and freshly cut grass. Also vanilla and caramel come to play which turns into more marmalade a like in the nose.
Taste: more spice on the tongue in this “Golden Syrup” combined with pepper, rye bread, toasted nuts and fresh cream.
Finish: the Finish is rich and spicy and makes you long for lost more.
