The Navy Island Oloroso Sherry Cask is a blend of 3 Jamaican aged pot still rums from Worthy Park, Hampden and Moneymusk finished for circa 12 months in an Oloroso sherry cask. The rum is named after Navy Island, a small tropical island near the coast of Jamaica. This rum is a limited edition single cask release.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: tropical fruit with mosh, flowering lilies and dark caramel followed by more cask aromas like dark chocolate, cherries and raisin cake
Palate: thick marmalade and cherry jam, oaky aromas, toffee and milk chocolate
Finish: rich and warming
