Based on Molasse, this rum has aged for 7 years in Limosin Oak, after which it got a finish of 1 year in an ex-single malt whiskey barrels of Distillerie de Rozelieures from France. This is a peated rum.
The colour is an intense and attractive copper shade. In the nose you will discover intense earthy notes, minerals, wood and tobacco. Hints of peach and smoke can also be detected. Evaluates quickly when exposed to air. The taste is intense and explosive on the palate. Bittersweet with peated notes. In the aftertaste, this rum softens somewhat, and it finishes on peated and smoke notes.
