Renegade Rum New Bacolet (50%)

The farm of New Bacolet faces south on a steep, sunlit site. To the north, the farm is enclosed and sheltered by a forest. Because New Bacolet is situated along a slope and is steeper than most farms, the excavation of the land here was the most difficult. Four different terroirs were identified here on more than 21 hectares of land. The two sugarcane varieties Lacalome Red and Yellow Lady are planted here. For this rum, the sucrose-rich variety Lacalome Red was harvested.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Floral aroma of lilac and dried flowers.
Palate: Rich and soft vegetal notes of fresh grass.
Finish: Complex, but well balanced with a long, dry aftertaste.
