Of the usual series, the 'Gran Reserva' has enjoyed the longest maturation and you can taste it. This spectacular 'full bodied' rum has a nice balance and layering and is especially meant to be enjoyed pure or to shine in the finest cocktails such as a Rum-Old-Fashioned.

Cask maturation: Reserves (ex-bourbon) aged 9 to 15 years, 12 years on average.
Aroma: Cocoa, dried plums, nuts and oak.
Flavour: Full-bodied, firm and complex, dried figs, butterscotch, toasted nuts. dark chocolate, leather and tobacco on the finish.
