Ron Abuelo Anejo Reserva Especial (40%)

The 'Reserva Especial' is fine pure, but an absolute blast to mix with. This rum has a light body without much complexity, but is a lot softer and tastier than comparable young rums. Fine to drink pure, but especially great for mixing or cooking. In short, an excellent rum in its price range.

Cask maturation: Reserves (ex-bourbon) aged 3 to 7 years, average 5 years.
Aroma: Toast, fresh spices, banana, apricot and oak.
Flavour: Light body, brown sugar, vanilla, hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Leather and tobacco on the finish.
