Tamnavulin Red Wine Cask Edition Cabernet Sauvignon Finish is matured for several years in traditional oak casks before undergoing a finish in ex-Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks. This post-ripening gives this single malt whisky extra fruity and lively flavours, making for a pleasant enrichment of the house style.
The scent of this whisky opens with floral influences, notes of berries, marmalade, cinnamon, pear and almonds. On the palate, you'll find mainly fruit influences, with hints of banana bread and a hint of ginger complementing this.
