Tamnavulin Red Wine Cask Edition Grenache Finish is a special appearance from the Tamnavulin distillery's range. This single malt whisky initially matures for several years in ex-American oak before undergoing a finish in ex-Spanish wine casks that previously contained grenache wine. This double barrel maturation adds a nice extra dimension to the smooth flavours of Tamnavulin whisky's house style.
Floral scents, notes of caramelised orange, marzipan, vanilla and cream form a lively interplay. The taste is reminiscent of a mix of white chocolate and red berries, followed by hints of toffee apple, peach and coffee beans.
