About Teaninich Distillery......
Teaninich Distillery was founded in 1817 by Hugh Munro, making it one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland. In 1904, the distillery was taken over by the Munro family and later by Distillers Company Ltd (DCL), which eventually merged into Diageo. Although less well known as a single malt, Teaninich plays an important role in Scottish blends, such as Johnnie Walker. The distillery has a modern production facility and uses a unique mash-filter system, which contributes to its clear and pure spirit.
Teaninich whisky is known for its bright, aromatic and slightly spicy character. Its flavour profile is often compared to Clynelish because of its light, waxy mouthfeel.
