Tomintoul 14YO 2008 Limited Edition White Port Cask Finish (46%)

This 14-year-old Tomintoul, after being matured in an ex-bourbon barrel, received a finish on a white port cask, specially selected by Master Distiller Robert Fleming in Portugal for this limited edition.
All this results in a sweet, complex and somewhat robust flavor and adds an extra dimension and complexity to the whisky.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Delicious aromas of red berries come flying at you, further scents of freshly baked bread, strawberry and cinnamon are perceptible.
Palate: Sweet and complex with notes of ripe fruit, marmalade, panna cotta and ginger.
Finish: Raspberry and caramel emerge clearly, followed by cocoa and intense spices.
