Tomintoul Tawny Port Finish (40%)

Master Distiller Robert Fleming shows with these Cask Finishes the influence a finish in different casks has on the whisky's aroma and taste. Robert has been in the whisky industry since 1974 and has worked at Tomintoul for more than 20 years. Today he is responsible for all production processes at the distillery.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Full aroma of berries, blackberry jam and dark chocolate enveloped in nutmeg and cherry liqueur.
Flavor: A wave of blackcurrant, blueberry and Schwarzwalder Kirsch mixed with a warm spiciness of oak and mocha coffee.
Finish: Maraschino cherries and marmalade fade until clove and cinnamon linger.
