Zuidam Oude Genever Special N. 29 - 3YO Moscatel (38%)

The Zuidam Special No. 29 Oude Genever Moscatel 3 years old is a 3 year old barrel aged genever from Zuidam Distillers of Baarle Nassau. Distilled in 2019, this genever was aged for 3 years in Moscatel barrels before being bottled in 2022 at 38% in a 1 liter bottle as a limited small batch release.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Subtle floral aromas of white roses. Summer fruit salad with peach, white grapes and green apple. Slowly some delicate scents of lightly toasted almonds with honey and vanilla also come through.
Taste: Warm and full-bodied. Summer fruits like apricots and peach. Then notes of oranges with delicate notes of white chocolate.
Finish: Medium-bodied with fresh orchard fruits like apples and peaches and orange notes
