Zuidam Spelled Genever 1 Year Barrel-aged (38%)

This special genever combines the spiciness of the Spelled grains with the flavors of juniper, licorice root and aniseed. The spelled genever is distilled three times in small red copper stills from a 100% spelled grain mixture. The new spelled distillate is then aged for a minimum period of 1 year in new American oak barrels. After this, all the ingredients are combined before it is reduced to drinking strength.
